Hey babes, what’s upp ❤ Truth be told, I’ve debated between writing and not writing this post for over a week, but if your eyeballs are reading this I guess I’ve made up my mind. Now let me explain, I KNOW its August 10th. I KNOW, it’s back to school season. I KNOW I should probably be writing about fall related topics, but your girl loves summer and I’m refusing to believe that summer is practically over. To be fair, I’m back in California for the next 2 weeks and I’ve been sweating non stop all day, which I guess it’s probably why I’m denial…
ANYWAYS, back to the post! What’s up guys? I spent 3 hours in the pool today. I bought this $20 donut floaty from Target yesterday! (donut ask why 😉 ) & basically bathed in tanning oil and started reading a new book, which inspired this post!
In the summer, I always find myself more drawn towards fiction, specifically summer time love stories. Something about summer loves makes my heart happy 🙂 Without further due, here’s my list 🙂
~ 99 Days by Katie Cotugno | This is the book I started reading this morning! It revolves around this girl who appears to have caught feelings for two boys and struggles to choose which one is the one she loves. It sounds like a very cute innocent love story!
~ It’s Not Summer Without You (Summer #2) and We’ll Always Have That Summer (Summer #3) by Jenny Han | I read the first book of this series last summer on a boat that took me island hopping over Greece, and I really liked it.
~ Catcher by Kalyn Nicholson | This is such a good idea. It’s more futuristic, than the books I normally read, it’s about this girl who falls in love with this boy she meets in her sleep. This is definitely on my to-buy list!
~ Boys of Summer by Jessica Brody | This book is focused around male friendship which is always super intriguing to me, as boys go through life and experience things much different from girls. It also shows love and relationships from a guy perspective which is super interesting to read as a girl, so I’d love to give this a read!
Anyways, so those are all the books left in my summer reading list! Hopefully I make enough time to finish all of them by the end of August, but I read more in the summer than I do during the school year like a true scholar so there is hope! Hope you guys give these a try so we can all be twinning from different parts of the world!
Love you guys xx
