HOW TO: Get Smooth & Silky Skin

Hey babes, welcome back! HAPPY JUNE!! I know that Summer isn’t starting until June 21st or something, but June is a summer month and that’s enough for me to start off with a Summer related post! Today’s post will be super short, but also a must read for anyone who is interested in the EASIEST. SIMPLEST. CHEAPEST. FASTEST freaking way to get Smooth & Silky skin.

I was on Pinterest and Tumblr late last night, jut scrolling, and one post led to another and onto another (you know how it goes), so I ended up looking for ways to get smooth skin for the summer, because with more skin showing these months, we want it to be super soft. And I discovered this DIY and gave it a shot, and it’s truly amazing!

YOU WILL NEED:

  1. 1/2 Cup Cane Raw Sugar (found at your local grocery store for literally under $3)
  2. 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil (also at your grocery store for $5)
  3. A bowl from your kitchen & a spoon

INSTRUCTIONS:

Literally, take the 1/2 cup of sugar and put in 1/4 cup of coconut oil and mix it up in the bowl until its starting to look like a scrub. If you think you made too little, you can add more sugar and more oil and make a bigger portion, but this should be a good starting amount. When you’re done, just bring the bowl in the shower, apply it on your skin and rub it in, until the oil is kind of all over your body!

(PRO) TIP: It does exfoliate and moisturize so don’t be scared to rub it in a little bit harder

Hope you found this helpful! Love you xx

Until next time,

Georgia X
